Tim Graham Pottery

Tim divides his time between teaching at Wilson Hall, a private school in Sumter, SC; and making functional ash
glazed pots. It's a constant balancing act trying to develop as both an artist and a teacher. In 1994 Tim received
his BFA in Art Eduation from The University of South Carolina in Columbia. Since then he has taught in both public
and private schools, and has been a South Carolina Artist in Residence. Most of Tim's inspiration is derived from the natural textures and colors found in the swamps, fields and ponds of Central SC; and the rock formations of the NC mountains, where he spent several years of undergraduate study. Tim is a member of the Midland Clay Arts Society, and the National Art Education Association.
